BANKED SLALOM JANUARY 21ST

As unusual, this year we decided to bring a new flava in the park. For those who already seen it, good for you. For the others, we started to build a BANKED SLALOM. On JANUARY 21ST, Snowboarders (only) will be able to compete in 3 different categories; Women, Men and Juniors. For now we have 8 banked turns a couple of hoops and for the seniors categories the end of the course will end in a natural canyon. We are also thinking of building a couple of freestyle sneek peeks, for those about to ride!

BANKED SLALOM JANUARY 21ST
Cette année comme a notre habitude nous vous proposerons quelque chose de different, niveau contest. Le 21 JANVIER avec un BANKED SLALOM constitué de 8 virages shapés à la machine, de quelques hoops et pour les catégories seniors, le BANKED se finira dans le canyon naturel de droite en descendant le park. Nous refléchissons encore de pouvoir construire un ou deux sneek peeks pour les casse-cou, histoire de favoriser les téméraires.

Nothing new here we knew for a long time he is killing it and that is just the start.

Comme on pouvait s’y attendre Pat a déchiré tous les scores avec 2 podiums sur le site de Transworld avec une seconde place pour le meilleur trick de l’année et une 3eme place pour les videos les plus vues de 2011. Le gamin déchire tout et ca fait un bon moment qu’on le savait mais ce qui va venir à l’avenir peut etre moins de monde s’y attende. Stay tuned…

Compared to last season, one can definitively say its a bit different. In the past 96 hours it snowed 200 cms, sounding like BC isnt? But who could complain: Check out this link filmed yesterday evening by our head shaper Cox

Wanna talk about gossip, we heard Halldor is in Saas Fe, Eric Jackson will join Gigi in Aarlberg, we could tell more but we ll keep the rest for dessert…
Talking about Gigi, I had the chance to ride an hour with Icon and living Legend Christian Ruef. The most incredible thing about this guy, is every time he steps in his boots its like it was the first time he rides… so passionate, so much dedication, no wonder he got so fare.
Heureusement nous ne sommes pas les seuls a pouvoir profiter de l’or blanc, les stations suisses et autrichiennes peuvent aussi en profiter, ainsi il paraitrait que Halldor est a Saas Fe, Eric jackson en Aarlberg et nos sources nous disent encore beaucoup de chose mais nous garderons le secret… pour l’instant.
L’autre jour j ai eu la possibilité de rider 1 heure avec Gigi, oui seulement 1 heure tellement il y avait du vent. Passer meme ces quelques instant avec une des icône et legende vivante du snowboard a été un réel plaisir. Toute la joie et l’excitation d’un gamin qui ride pour la premiere fois, l’essence meme de la ride, il n’y pas de miracle pour aller ci loin il faut vraiment etre passionné.
